Evidence provenance
Source-linked visual production preserves a reviewable path from a visual proposition back to the material, interpretation, decision, or disclosed assumption that supports it. HIVE calls the release-facing record of that path an Evidence Passport. Private Matter evidence and Matter-specific passports are never public discovery content.
A record may document words, measurements, or observations. A finding may interpret those materials. A visual specification then expresses an approved explanatory choice. Keeping those layers distinct makes revisions and disagreements easier to understand.
When an opinion or source changes, the affected finding, decision, specification, and output should be revised through a recorded path instead of silently replacing the prior state.
A provenance record does not guarantee accuracy, admissibility, or agreement. It makes the supporting path and disclosed limits easier for authorized reviewers to inspect.
