When representative anatomy may be enough
Representative anatomy can be suitable when the point is general anatomy, a standard procedure, or a relationship that does not depend on the individual geometry. It must remain labeled as representative.

Anatomy and reconstruction
Representative anatomy is a general illustrative model selected to explain a concept; it does not claim to reproduce one person’s geometry. Patient-specific reconstruction attempts to derive anatomy from identified imaging or other case-specific material and requires a different evidentiary, technical, privacy, and review foundation. HIVE does not currently offer released patient-specific medical reconstruction.
Representative anatomy can be suitable when the point is general anatomy, a standard procedure, or a relationship that does not depend on the individual geometry. It must remain labeled as representative.
If size, placement, path, displacement, contact, or an individual anatomical relationship is material, counsel and the relevant expert may need patient-specific imaging and a qualified reconstruction workflow.
Contact, adherence, displacement, invasion, and compression describe different relationships. A visual should not substitute one for another because it is easier to render.
